Ask any quilter what they love about "being a quilter" and one of the reasons is likely to be the sense of community. Quilters of all ages, sizes, backgrounds and experience levels love to gather to share the experience of being "makers". Nowhere is that more apparent than with our excitement over a quilt-along.
This is the idea behind Moda's celebration of the community of quilters. They have built a neighborhood for all of us! Welcome to the Moda'hood! Moda has created "blueprints" for a 16 block neighborhood. The patterns are free and will be posted on the Fabric Hutch every Friday beginning September 9. The blueprints are in gray-scale so that you can choose the colors of your neighborhood. It can be scrappy or a planned community. The choice is yours! You can find other "neighborhoods" on Facebook and Instagram. #ModaBeMyNeighbor.
